Tikhoretsky District (Russian: Тихоре́цкий райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Tikhoretsky Municipal District. It is located in the northeastern central part of the krai. The area of the district is 1,825.4 square kilometers (704.8 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Tikhoretsk (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 59,106 (2010 Census); 61,232 (2002 Census); 58,739 (1989 Soviet census).
