Tiran Island (Arabic: جزيرة تيران Jezîret Tīrān, Jazīrat Tīrān), is an island in the Red Sea located in the Strait of Tiran. The island was part of Egypt before but is now administered by Saudi Arabia after the approval of the Parliament of Egypt and President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
