Tooz District (Arabic: قضاء الطوز) is a district in the north-eastern part of Saladin Governorate, Iraq. Its towns include Sulaiman Bek, Yankjah, and Amirli. Its population is predominantly Turkmen followed by Arabs and Kurds. The district's name is in the Turkmen dialect, meaning 'salt.' The Al-Bayati tribe are the largest in the district.
