Treefort Music Fest
Treefort Music Fest is a five-day indie rock festival held at several venues throughout downtown Boise, Idaho in late March. The inaugural festival took place from March 20–23, 2012, featuring Built to Spill, The Joy Formidable, Poliça, and other acts. Treefort has been called "the west’s best SXSW alternative" and "Boise's preeminent artistic, cultural, and musical happening."
The festival is organized by Duck Club, a local concert promoter. Concerts primarily take place at Julia Davis Park with events hosted at over 20 other venues across downtown Boise.
Several smaller spin-off festivals take place during Treefort. Alefort serves beers from local, regional, and international breweries, Artfort showcases performance art and interactive exhibits, and Hackfort hosts technology companies and conferences. Other festivals include Dragfort, Filmfort, Foodfort, Storyfort, Skatefort, Podfort, Kidfort and Music Talks.
