Truso Gorge

The Truso Gorge or Tyrsy gorge is a high-altitude trough valley in northeastern Georgia, located in the Kazbegi Municipality and is part of the historical Khevi region. It contains Georgian cultural and historical heritage. The valley is part of the Kazbegi National Park and is the source of the Terek river.

The republic of South Ossetia, as well as the republic of North Ossetia claim the valley as "historically eastern Ossetian lands."
