Two Solitudes (Canadian society)

"Two Solitudes" (French:  deux solitudes) refers to a perceived lack of communication and lack of will to communicate between Anglophone and Francophone people in Canada. The term was popularized by Hugh MacLennan's novel Two Solitudes.
