UPMC Outpatient Center was a 209,000-square-foot (19,400 m2) outpatient facility that provided, among other services, Orthopaedic services, primary care services, and physicians offices to the residents of Pittsburgh's South Side neighborhood. UPMC Outpatient Center operated according to the directives established by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and would not provide or permit medical procedures that were contrary to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
