Ulrich Rippert

Ulrich Rippert (born 1951) is a German Trotskyist politician and journalist. He is party leader of the German party Sozialistische Gleichheitspartei (SGP). This party is a member of the International Committee of the Fourth International. Rippert is a member of the World Socialist Web Site International Editorial Board. He is the father of two daughters and lives in Berlin. He was one of two SGP candidates the party ran for the 2024 European Parliament election in Germany. He was a founding member of the PSG’s predecessor organization founded in 1971, the Bund Sozialistischer Arbeiter (League of Socialist Workers).
