Van Buren Malone (born July 1, 1970) is a football coach and former National Football League (NFL) football player. He's currently the assistant head coach, defensive passing game coordinator and cornerbacks coach at Kansas State. He played college football at the University of Texas at Austin and pro football, from 1994 to 1997 with the Detroit Lions, who drafted him in the second round of the 1994 NFL draft.

Malone grew up in Houston, Texas and played high school football at Houston Waltrip.
