Vietnam: Lotus in a Sea of Fire is a book written by Buddhist monk Thích Nhất Hạnh with a foreword contributed by Thomas Merton. The book chronicles Nhất Hạnh's perspective living through the Vietnam War. Nhất Hạnh presents the conflict as being focused on sovereignty rather than ideology for most Vietnamese and creates a plan for peace.
