Vokhomsky District (Russian: Во́хомский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kostroma Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,400 square kilometers (1,300 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of Vokhma. Population: 6,948 (2021 Census); 10,152 (2010 Census); 13,444 (2002 Census); 16,891 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Vokhma accounts for 56.5% of the district's total population.
