WTA 125 tournaments

WTA 125 tournaments are an international series of professional women's tennis tournaments organized by the Women's Tennis Association since 2012.

Sometimes called the WTA Challenger tour (analogous to the men's ATP Challenger Series), it is the second highest level of women's competition, below the top-tier WTA Tour, and above the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour tournaments.

Players who succeed in the WTA 125s earn sufficient overall WTA ranking points to become eligible for the main draw or qualifying draw entry of WTA Tour tournaments. Results such as titles won at a WTA 125 event are separately counted from the same player's achievements at WTA Tour level tournaments. However match results from WTA 125 events are counted and added into WTA players' overall head-to-head win/loss statistics.
