Walter Bitterlich (German pronunciation: [ˈvaltɐ ˈbɪtɐlɪç] ⓘ; February 19, 1908 – February 9, 2008) was an Austrian forestry scientist. He was the inventor of the relascope, a method for efficient forest inventory.
