Walter Mendenhall (born January 22, 1986) is a former American football running back. He played college football at Illinois from 2005 to 2007 before transferring to Illinois State where he played in 2008. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and was also a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati Bengals. He is the brother of former Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals running back Rashard Mendenhall.
