Wernau (German pronunciation: [ˈvɛʁnaʊ] ⓘ; Swabian: Wärnao) is a town in the district of Esslingen in Baden-Württemberg southwestern Germany. It is situated on the Neckar river, 25 km southeast of Stuttgart.
