The Wichita, Kansas Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Office of Management and Budget, is an area consisting of four counties in south central Kansas, its only principal city is Wichita and its only central county is Sedgwick County. As of the 2024 American Community Survey, the MSA had a population of 661,217.
