William Shepherd (English cricketer)

William Charles Shepherd (9 August 1840 – 27 May 1919) was an English first-class cricketer, active 1864–68. He played for Surrey. He was born in Kennington and died in Tooting. In 1868 he played and toured with the Australian Aboriginal Cricket team and between 1872-1895 he was the Dulwich College cricket professional (coach and groundsman). He was a left-hand batsman and left-arm medium bowler.
