Yeltsovsky District (Russian: Ельцо́вский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the east of the krai. The area of the district is 2,158 square kilometers (833 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Yeltsovka. Population: 6,339 (2010 Census); 7,923 (2002 Census); 9,232 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Yeltsovka accounts for 45.1% of the district's total population.
