Yurinsky District (Russian: Ю́ринский райо́н; Hill Mari: Йӱрнӹ кымдем, Jürnÿ kymdem; Meadow Mari: Йӱрнӧ кундем, Jürnö kundem) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fourteen in the Mari El Republic, Russia. It is located in the west of the republic. The area of the district is 2,040 square kilometers (790 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Yurino. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 8,758, with the population of Yurino accounting for 39.6% of that number.
