Zelenchuksky District (Russian: Зеленчу́кский райо́н; Karachay-Balkar: Зеленчук район, Zelençuk rayon) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the ten in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Russia. It is located in the western central part of the republic. The area of the district is 2,931 square kilometers (1,132 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a stanitsa) of Zelenchukskaya. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 51,780, with the population of Zelenchukskaya accounting for 37.6% of that number.
