The 1970 Ohio Bobcats football team was an American football team that represented Ohio University in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) during the 1970 NCAA University Division football season. In their 13th season under head coach Bill Hess, the Bobcats compiled a 4–5 record (3–2 against MAC opponents), finished in a tie for second place, and were outscored by all opponents by a combined total of 261 to 178. They played their home games in Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio.

The team's game against Marshall, scheduled for November 21, was canceled in the aftermath of the Southern Airways Flight 932 crash on November 14 that killed 37 members of the opposing team.
