The 1991 Ohio State Buckeyes football team represented the Ohio State University as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 1991 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by fourth-year head coach John Cooper, the Buckeyes compiled an overall record of 8–4 with a mark of 5–3 in conference play, tying for third place in the Big Ten. Ohio State was invited to the Hall of Fame Bowl, where the Buckeyes lost to Syracuse. The team played home games at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
