The 2000 Wisconsin Badgers football team represented the University of Wisconsin as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 2000 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by 11th-year head coach Barry Alvarez, the Badgers compiled an overall record of 9–4 with a mark of 4–4 in conference play, placing in a three-way tie for fifth in the Big Ten. Wisconsin was invited to the Sun Bowl, where the Badgers defeated UCLA. The team played home games at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin.
