The 2001 UAB Blazers football team represented the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) as a member of the Conference USA (C-USA) during the 2001 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by seventh-year head coach Watson Brown, the Blazers complied an overall record of 6–5 with a mark of 4–3 in conference play, placing in a three-way tie for second in C-USA. UAB played home games at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama.
