The Assembly Executive and Review Committee is a standing committee of the Northern Ireland which was established under the St Andrews Agreement to conduct reviews of the "operational aspects" of the assembly and executive.
The committee has written reports which led to the establishment of the Department of Justice and the reduction in the number of departments.
Currently the committee is reviewing the veto that has enabled the assembly and executive to collapse.
