The Battle of Tavareyaghatta was a battle between the Western Chalukyas under emperor Satyashraya and Chola emperor Rajaraja I. It was a decisive victory for Satyashraya, who completely destroyed all Chola attempts to invade Kalyani until the reign of Rajadhiraja I.
