Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali (Urdu: عابدشیرعلی; born 21 November 1971) is a Pakistani politician who Previously, served as Minister of State for Power from July 2013 to May 2018.

Previously served as Chairman of National Assembly for Education from 2008 to till 2013. He is serving as Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) since 2002. He had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, from 2002 to May 2018 for 3 Consecutive Terms (each term comprising 3 years).

On 31 May 2002, Abid elected as Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), for his efforts for party in hard time, and given party ticket to him. Abid elected as Chairman of National Assembly for Standing Committee for Education in 2008. After 2013 general elections Abid appointed as Minister of State for Water and Power until disqualification of Nawaz Sharif, given to him same ministry after election of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as Prime Minister of Country

In 2018, he lost the election to Farrukh Habib. Abid Sher Ali was win that seat from Farrukh Habib in 2013 with heavy margin.

According to Abid, he went to cast their vote and says Presiding officer don't allow women's to cast their votes. He says Presiding officer waste his thousands of votes.

Abid submit recounting request in Lahore High Court, on August 3, 2018 Abid Sher Ali lost again after recount and lost more 701 votes.

Abid Contest elections in 2022 against Patron in Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi, after ouster Imran Khan as Prime Minister, the by election held due to resignation of previous MP Farrukh Habib. Abid promise before election to build mosque and reduce electric city bills. Abid also criticised his own government, Mifah Ismail for electric city bills. By polls held in May but after some reasons of Imran Khan election held on October 16 2022, and lost by 20,000 margin.

He lost election against his own former lawyer Changaiz Ahmed Khan Kakar, in 2024.
