Christopher P. Scanlon (born August 6, 1981) is an American politician and the current acting mayor of Buffalo, New York. He became Buffalo's 63rd mayor, having served since October 15, 2024, succeeding Byron Brown.
He was previously a member of the Buffalo Common Council, representing the South District from May 2012 to October 2024.
Scanlon is currently running for a full term in the 2025 Buffalo mayoral election.
