The Conquest of Caesarea Maritima was a military engagement between the Rashidun Muslims and the Byzantine garrison of Caesarea. During the Muslim conquests, the Muslims overran the Levant. The city of Caesarea resisted the Muslims from 634 before eventually falling to them in 641.
