Henry Tzu-Yow Yang (Chinese: 楊祖佑; born November 29, 1940) is an American mechanical engineer who served as the fifth chancellor of the University of California, Santa Barbara from June 1994 to June 2025. With 31 years in office, he is the longest-serving chancellor in the University of California history. After leaving the chancellor's office, Yang continues to serve as a professor of mechanical engineering at the UC Santa Barbara College of Engineering.
