Matthew S. Meyer (born September 29, 1971) is an American politician and attorney. A member of the Democratic Party, he has served as the 76th governor of Delaware since 2025. He was previously the New Castle County executive from 2017 to 2025. Prior to this, Meyer worked as an attorney in private practice, and was an economic advisor to former governor Jack Markell and an advisor within the U.S. State Department.
