Olympic High School is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is a high school in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) system. Olympic opened in the fall of 1966, in what was then the rural outskirts of Charlotte. It joined the Coalition of Essential Schools in 2005, and was split into five smaller, theme-based schools. Olympic was consolidated back into one comprehensive high school the 2018–2019 school year.
