The Psammotermitidae are a family of termites that regrouped the subfamilies Psammotermitinae and Prorhinotermitinae, which were formerly nested within Rhinotermitidae. The subfamilies are monogeneric and represented by their respective genera, Psammotermes and Prorhinotermes.
