Rayanapadu Railway Station Nears Inauguration Under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme

The construction of the main façade at Rayanapadu railway station has been completed, and the station is now ready for its inauguration in the coming days. Developed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) with an investment of Rs 12 crore, the station features a vibrant traditional design inspired by the colorful murals of Kondapalli toys, capturing the attention of all who pass by.

Plans are underway to inaugurate the station during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Amaravati in the second half of April. The prime minister is expected to relaunch the development works for the Amaravati capital city during this visit, and the event may coincide with the formal opening of Rayanapadu railway station. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is also likely to participate in the inauguration. If the timing doesn't align with the PM's visit, the station will be inaugurated alongside 104 other ABSS-developed railway stations across India, though the exact date for this larger event is yet to be finalized.
