Westmere (formerly Nehalem-C) is a CPU microarchitecture developed by Intel. It is a 32 nm die shrink of Nehalem, and shares the same CPU sockets with it. Some Westmere models have integrated graphics processors. They are branded as Intel HD Graphics, and support the DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 2.1 API.
The first Westmere-based processors were launched on January 7, 2010. They are subsequently available under Intel's brands of Core i3, i5, i7, Pentium, Celeron and Xeon.
