Line 12 of the Guangzhou Metro (Chinese: 广州地铁12号线) is a fully automated rapid transit line under construction in Guangzhou, China. It was originally planned to open for operation in 2023, but due to the obstruction of the construction progress, it was announced in 2022 that it was expected to be completed in 2024, and the opening has since been delayed into 2025. The 9-station western section between Xunfenggang and Guangzhou Gymnasium and the 9-station eastern section between Ersha Island and Higher Education Mega Center South except Chigang will open in 2025.
